With Crush Model Studios being local to the Kansas City metro, we are lucky enough to have connections to models in both Kansas and Missouri. The Kansas open call casting was held last Saturday in Baldwin City at the Nook coffee shop, for the third year in a row. This year Crush witnessed lots of new faces and is excited to see lots of new members as a part of the team. Only one returning member attended the Kansas casting. The excitement of seeing new models chasing their dreams makes everyone’s heart happy. This year Crush Model Studio has over 30 models as a part of the team.
The weather was surprisingly peaceful for January. Many models took advantage of the local murals and the beautiful day to take pictures and practice throughout Baldwin. With many models walking around to and from the casting, locals began to pay attention. Citizens local to Baldwin came in to stop by and say hi to founder, Sarah Beth, and the volunteers.
Thank you to Niki for opening up The Nook to us, once again. A big thank you to all the volunteers this year. We could not have been able to pull any of this off without you. Thank you to all the models that attended. We look forward to seeing many of you, again, soon.
